Camp Director – Michael Gullion

Michael has a long history of working at Boy Scout Camps; he started back in 1997 as a CIT at Camp Loud Thunder at the Illowa Council.  He worked on staff there as Lifeguard, Aquatics Director, and Program Director.  In 2007, he became a Professional Scouter as a District Executive in the Illowa Council, where he worked until 2013 when he joined the Chattahoochee Council Team as the Camping Director where he not only focuses on Summer Camp, but year round camping opportunities for all programs.  This is his 2nd year as Camp Director for Camp FGL and is very excited to have troops attend from all over the area to take part in the Camp FGL Experience.  For any questions, you can contact him at michael.gullion@scouting.org .


 

Program Director – Miss Lora Taft

Miss Taft has been active in Scouts from 2009-present in many different rolls. She has been the Parent Committee Chair for Pack 47: 5 yrs…2010-2015; Webelos Den Leader Pack 47: 1 yr; GHL Day Camp Director: 3yrs 2012-2014; Wood Badge: S9-91-14 received beads September 2015; Popcorn Chair for GHL: 2 yrs 2014-2015; OWLS Trainer 2013-2015; University for Scouting: instructor for three years; Wood Badge Troop Guide 2016; and Troop 40 Webmaster and Merit Badge Counselor. She is also a retired school teacher, and still teaches at the college level.

The Chattahoochee Council and the Camp FGL staff are very excited to have Miss Taft on board as the Program Director for the 2016 Summer.
