At Camp FGL we are taking a new look at the summer camp experience by taking the merit badge class to a whole new level.
Baden-Powell once said “We are not a club or Sunday School class, but a school of the woods.”
At Camp FGL we don’t believe that sitting at a picnic table outside for a week counts as a “school of the woods”. While at Camp FGL your Scouts will gain a true experience of Scouting. Scouts will earn merit badges by completing a themed “Quest”. Each quest is designed to be hands on and highly interactive while earning 4-6 merit badges with partials on several others and providing each Scout a full summer camp experience.
Scouts looks to have a memorable experience at summer camp each year. The quest program is designed to give that to them through interactive and creative ways of accomplish- ing merit badge requirements. Each quest runs Monday through Thursday from 9AM-4PM allowing more time to work on requirements with the staff members.
